The Unexpected: Protein-Rich, Gut-Friendly Ramen
When it comes to persona-based messaging, finding the right folks with relatable lived experiences to other potential customers is critical. This plant-based ramen brand has a variety of customer personas, but one untapped persona we noticed were femmes and women with gut issues from IBS and PCOS.
Most folks who struggle with these issues are aware that having a diet high in protein can help alleviate some of their symptoms, but it’s hard to find protein-rich foods that their bodies can handle.
Here, we interviewed Asha, a ramen lover whose PCOS, a serious medical condition, has prevented her from enjoying the gluten-y goodness of most noodle brands (and packaged foods in general).
Asha was taken aback after giving this plant-based ramen brand a try — her gut didn’t hurt, and she felt full afterwards (without the bloat or grogginess that ramen normally gives her). The whopping 15g of protein per serving is another reason for her to love this ramen company: she feels great after eating her ramen AND she’s getting that high-protein, plant-based diet she’s looking for.
